MSP430 Oscilloscope

I wrote this oscilloscope for a TI MSP430. I used it for a physics experiment which purpose was to find the light speed using a Foucault Michelson experimental design. This oscilloscope had a photoresistor as input, and was used to measure the rotary velocity of a rotating mirror. The outcome was not very satisfactory, though. We managed to get an error of  ~17%. I used the  ADC in burst mode to achieve the fastest possible results. The msp430 connected to the computer through the integrated UART interface and received commands to read data.foucault-michelson
